Never, have five individuals fallen together in the same place so perfectly. Each from a different part of the United States, their lives led them all to the same playing field. In August of 2009 Jared DePatto, Johnathan Robbins, Stefen Henderson, Quintin Hawkins, and Ryan Worley met in San Francisco at the Academy of Art University. All playing together on the AAU baseball team, their connection and bond was ignited instantly through their common passion for music. Soon after spending day and night together in their dorms, creating beats and writing verses they decided to call themselves “SoundProof.”
Only seven months later, SoundProof was discovered by aspiring band manager and fellow AAU student Katie Lichtl. With no fear or hesitation, Lichtl—who works for Morty Wiggins a music industry mogul who launched his career in the music business over 30 years with Bill Graham a renowned concert promoter and artist manager—instantly felt the passion and enthusiasm each member of the group carried in their songs. Collectively, the six students knew that the key obstacle to their success would be to find a reliable management team to take them to the top. In a matter of weeks, Lichtl and all 5 members of SoundProof worked around the clock to launch their websites, build their local fan base, and record their first two mixtapes; all while attending college, playing baseball, and working full-time.
Only two and a half months into their careers SoundProof seems to be sweeping San Francisco off their feet. Their first self-released mixtape titled “Simplicity Then” hit over 100 digital downloads in the first hour of their release. This fall, SoundProof will kick off the school year with live shows around the bay area, along with the release of their second 20 track mixtape “Simplicity Now” in September 2010. Watch out hip-hop, the bay area has brewed up a new era of swag known as SoundProof.

WEAPON ELEVEN is more than just a band name. It represents a non-stop evolution of styles and sounds that stretch the boundaries of popular music. Although every band member may and probably will give a different answer to their favorite musical genre, the fusion of funk, rock and hip hop is what gives Weapon Eleven its highly unique sound.
The band consists of 5 members : JEFF HAM (DRUMS) SPENCER COREY (BASS) -JEREMY DENEAU (GUITAR) MATT THUESEN aka BIG MATT (VOCALS) & DAVE LYNCH aka DUKE LACROSSE (VOCALS). Together, Jeff and Spencer lay down the mighty-tite foundation, while Jeremy is the guitar mastermind who's skillful playing complements the music to perfection. Lyrically DL and Big Matt are like no others. DL brings a hip hop background with a free flow style all his own while Big Matt delivers a raw and colorful definition of real life.
Weapon Eleven is here to make music that people can move to, party to and relate to, with a goal of leaving them wanting more. So get ready to get funked up, Live with WEAPON ELEVEN.
