Mōksha has climbed their way out of the depths of Sin City to the top of the Jamband charts by releasing two critically acclaimed albums with ‘Mammal or Machine’ and their recent sophomore album ‘Here To Go’ which just debuted at #1 on the Jam Band Radio charts.
Mōksha (mōke-sha) known for their explosive shows, filled with an arsenal of well-crafted material, have earned Moksha their reputation as Las Vegas' secret weapon. With guitar, keys, bass, drums, vocals and horns, this unique blend of musicians lives and breathes in a deep pocket of funk rock. Swirling in subtlety, their music paints a sonic landscape that unfolds in the moment and feeds on the dynamic ebb and flow of audience and band interconnection.
Moksha is one of the lucky handful of bands to perform a live webcast at Bob Weir’s, a founding member of the Grateful Dead new State-of-the-art TRI Studios for broadcasting live HD video and audio streams directly to the Internet.
JEN HARTSWICK
By age 20, Jen Hartswick recorded on two albums with Trey Anastasio (Story of the Ghost, Phish, 1998, and One Man's Trash, Trey Anastasio, 1998), Jennifer was asked to join Anastasio's new band. She has been an integral part of the band for the last ten years touring internationally and sharing the stage and studio with such legends as Carlos Santana, Dave Matthews, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and Herbie Hancock.
SKERIK
Skerik has toured with Fred Wesley, Mike Clark and The Headhunters, Wayne Horvitz, Mad Season and Roger Waters. He has performed with Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Bonnie Raitt, The Meters, Galactic, Dumpstaphunk, Johnny Vidacovich, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Ween, and many, many others.
Skerik leads Seattle-based "punk-jazz" ensemble Skerik’s Syncopated Taint Septet. He is a founding member of Seattle's Crack Sabbath and a member of another Seattle-based band, McTuff.
