WILL MAGID TRIO
Multi-Instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter WILL MAGID is based in San
Francisco, but performs and creates throughout the world. Musically he is a well seasoned traveler, having performed on five continents (Africa, Asia, South America, North America, Europe). He has worked with: Solomon Burke, CoCorosie, J-Boogie, Jeremy Sole, Afrolicious, Kenny Burrell, Mutaytor, Baba Ken Okulolo (King Sunny Ade), Soji Odukogbe (Fela Kuti)!
Recently from a tour in West Africa with performances in Ghana, Togo, and
Mali, Trumpeter and DJ Will Magid is back with a new record and a killer live
band. Live Electro-Swing, Deep House, Afro-Funk. "A golden touch. Something special I don't see that often" -Jeremy Sole (KCRW). This dance music is infectious.

Having played in many bands performing reggae, afrobeat, funk, rock, hip hop, klezmer, drum n bass, and latin styles this versatile performer began producing his own music and djing in 2007. Combining knowledge of multiple instruments, sound reinforcement, and his love of mixing music from different cultures, we now have the electro world dub mashup that is izzy*wise’s music.
